Tech note - Snowflake for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers

If you are a Matillion ETL customer who uses Matillion ETL for Snowflake on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), take note of the following information:

We urge you to update to either version 1.68 or version 1.72 by November 1, 2023.

What has caused this?

Matillion has been made aware of an upcoming update to Snowflake on GCP. This update will deprecate critical drivers that legacy versions of Matillion ETL connect to. If you wish for your Matillion ETL for Snowflake on GCP instances to continue operating as normal, you will need to upgrade to the versions mentioned in the above paragraph.

Both 1.68 and 1.72 are long-term support (LTS) versions of Matillion ETL.

If you are using any of the below versions, your Matillion ETL jobs will experience errors from November 1, 2023, if you do not update:

1.60, 1.61, 1.62, 1.63, 1.65, 1.66, 1.67.
