Mailchimp authentication guide

This guide explains how to obtain a Mailchimp API key to authenticate a Mailchimp component in Designer.

Obtain a Mailchimp API key

  1. Log in to Mailchimp.
  2. Click your user profile in the upper-right.
  3. Click Account & billing.
  4. Click Extras → API keys.
  5. Scroll down to Your API keys and then click Create A Key.
  6. Name your new API key.
  7. Click Generate Key.

  8. Click Copy To Clipboard to copy your API Key.

    Warning

    Take care to save your API key somewhere secure and retrievable. If you lose it, you'll need to revoke it and create a new one.

  9. Click Done to finish.
