Horizontal rules

Use a triple hyphen --- on a new line to represent a horizontal rule.

Use horizontal rules after each complete component parameter.

Always use horizontal rules before a Heading 2.

Use common sense to determine whether a horizontal rule is required before a Heading 3. For example, if you're producing text for in-app contextual help and wish to properly delineate a new section.

Always insert a newline before and after a horizontal rule.

Do not end a page with a horizontal rule. The final section on a page can skip the horizontal rule.
