Reconnecting your Git user account
The first time you try to perform an action that involves interaction with your Git repository, the Data Productivity Cloud guides you through the process of securely authorizing access to your Git provider. From then on, this information is used for all interactions performed by your account only.
From time to time, if required by your Git provider or your organization's security policy, you may be prompted by the Data Productivity Cloud to reauthorize this access. You also need to reauthorize this access if you want to use a different account to the account you originally shared.
Follow the reauthorization process described below to tell the Data Productivity Cloud to discard the details of your selected Git user account so that you can complete the account selection process again.
This can help if:
- You have selected the wrong account to authorize.
- Your permission to access a repository has changed, and this is not reflected in the Data Productivity Cloud.
- You need to resolve unexpected issues accessing your Git repository.
