Marketo authentication guide

This is a step-by-step guide to acquiring Marketo credentials and authorizing the Marketo Load and Marketo Query components.

Authorize Marketo components

1. Follow the instructions in OAuth, and select Marketo in the Provider field.
2. When the Client ID and Client Secret fields appear, return to this guide.
3. Follow the instructions in the Creating an Access Token section of the Marketo documentation to find your Client ID and Client Secret.

4. Copy and paste each credential into the corresponding Client ID and Client Secret fields in the Data Productivity Cloud.

   Warning

   When copying the credentials, some browsers may add a space to the end of the string. Watch out for this as it will cause the credentials to fail.

5. Click Authorize.

6. A new browser tab will open, connecting you to the third party. Select your account, and complete the connection. Upon success, this browser tab will close.
7. Your new OAuth connection is ready for use with the Marketo Load or Marketo Query component.
