Matillion Exchange is your go-to marketplace for discovering, sharing, and downloading ready-to-use assets for Matillion ETL. Explore a wide range of jobs designed to speed up your development and help you follow best practices. Quickly grab pre-built workflows, customize connectors to fit your needs. All content is covered by the Matillion Master Subscription Agreement, so downloading an asset confirms your acceptance of these terms.

This page describes how to use the Matillion Exchange to download connectors and shared jobs to use in your own Matillion ETL instance.

How the Matillion Exchange works🔗

Shared components (jobs and connectors) on the Matillion Exchange come from three sources:

Components developed by Matillion: Matillion’s developers create these components based on ideas shared by customers through the Matillion ETL Community ideas portal. They’re delivered as official functionality, so you can start using new features immediately without waiting for the next product release.
Components developed by Matillion's partner community: These components are created by Matillion’s partner community. Our trusted industry partners bring broad experience and a deep understanding of what customers need from Matillion ETL.

How Matillion validates and supports components🔗

Testing: Every component added to Matillion Exchange is fully tested by Matillion developers before we allow it to go live. Rest assured that any job or connector you download will work correctly.
Versions: Jobs and connectors are always built in a specific version of Matillion ETL and tested with that version, and the component description will always state which version it was built in. For example: Version Built In 1.56.0. We cannot guarantee that a component will work with any Matillion ETL version older than that which it was built in.
Downloads: Typically, you can download a job from Matillion Exchange and begin using it without modification. Often, though, you will want to use the job as a basic template, which you modify to produce something specific to your needs. You are free to modify any downloaded job in any way you wish, with the caveat that Matillion can no longer guarantee the job will function correctly.

Request a Connector🔗

At the top of the home page is a Request a Connector option. This takes you to the ideas portal, where you can add ideas for connectors you would like to see, or "upvote" ideas that you think would be useful. We regularly review this list, and where we find popular suggestions that could be addressed by a specific connector, we will do our best to create that connector and make it available on Matillion Exchange.

Download a Shared Job from the Matillion Exchange🔗

Open the Matillion Exchange.
Click Shared Jobs under the Matillion ETL assets section.
On the Shared Jobs page, click the Matillion ETL Shared Job you want to download. This opens the download page, where you can download the Shared Jobs meltfile.
On the selected shared job page, under Downloads, click the .meltfile to save it to your computer.

Download a Connector from the Matillion Exchange🔗

Open the Matillion Exchange.
Click Connectors under the Matillion ETL assets section.
On the Connectors page, click the connector you want to download. This opens the download page, where you can download the connector’s JSON file.
On the selected connector page, under Downloads, click the .JSON file to save it to your computer.
