Free trial

The Hub is a single platform for user administration, projects, billing, subscription management, observability, and other administration activities. By default, newly registered Hub accounts start the free trial, where 500 complimentary Matillion Credits are allocated for use across the Data Productivity Cloud:

  • Designer
  • Data Loader
  • Matillion ETL.
  • Custom Connector

The free trial grants account-wide access to the full Enterprise edition offering.

The complimentary credits will expire after 30 days, after which, you will need to upgrade to a paid subscription on an edition that suits your needs.

Note

If your Credit Based Trial period comes to an end before you upgrade, your subscription will either expire or automatically roll over onto the Pay-Go price plan. This will depend upon whether payment details have been entered and saved to your account. For more information, read Manage Subscription, and Manage payment details and invoices, respectively.

Once you have started your trial

When your free trial begins, log in to the Hub, click the account you want to work in, and What do you want to do today? will be displayed. Select one of the following services:

  • Click Design Pipelines to get started with the Data Productivity Cloud. For more information, read Designer overview.
  • Click Add Matillion ETL instance to begin your Matillion ETL journey. Create an instance, and associate it to your existing Hub account.
  • Click Load Data to begin your Data Loader journey.
  • To move data using your own custom connector, click Manage custom connector, and begin your journey by clicking Add connector. For more information, read Custom Connector Overview.
